The Queen’s Royal Lancers Regiment Association and East Midlands (Fondouk) Branch Dinner

THE East Midlands (Fondouk) Branch of the The Queen’s Royal Lancers are to hold the Regimental Association annual dinner alongside their own branch annual dinner at the Gateway Hotel, Nottingham, on Saturday 20th October.

The Queen’s Royal Lancers consists of the 16th/5th Lancers, the 17th/21st Lancers and the Queen’s Royal Lancers.

All former and current serving members, their families and friends are welcome, together with any support troops - from the Royal Signals, the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, the Royal Army Pay Corps etc.

Tickets are priced at £22.

Mr Scothern, who lives in Ashfield, said: “As the regiment is about to depart on another tour of Afghanistan in October, this is an important event for us.

“The regiment is primarily a Nottinghamshire recruited regiment.

“This a chance to come along and meet old friends and make new ones.

“There is a high demand for tickets so book early!”
