THE best of Mansfield and Ashfield will be showcased this evening (Thursday) when Chad hosts its annual Business Awards.
Now in its fourth year, the awards will see firms and organisations from across the area go head-to-head in 15 categories.
The prestigious black tie event will once again take place at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex at Sookholme, where guests will enjoy a champagne reception, four-course meal and the awards ceremony.
Said Chad editor, Tracy Powell: “We are really looking forward to our fourth annual Chad Business Awards celebrating the success of businesses within our community.
“It’s a fantastic event which showcases companies old and new, large and small, and proves that even in hugely challenging times our enterprise and hard-work in the Mansfield and Ashfield area shines through.
“Good luck to all our short-listed entrants and I look forward to what promises to be a fantastic evening.”
This year’s awards will be presented by Mark Dennison, of BBC Radio Nottingham.
Mark presents a show on the station each week day, between 9am-noon, and also broadcasts on Saturday mornings, from 6am-9am.
He is also a familiar face among Nottingham Forest Football Club supporters, as he is the club’s stadium announcer on matchdays at the City Ground.
