A talk about which flowers and plants attract bees and other insects into our gardens is taking place on Wednesday at The Manor Room in Teversal.

Chris and Margaret Edge, nurserymen and members of the British Beekeepers Association, will be giving the talk, which starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 per person including refreshments.

A meeting of the Friends of Teversal group is also taking place in The Manor Room on Wednesday, 25th June at 7.30 pm.

Items on the agenda include the memorial service being held to mark the outbreak of World War 1 on 26th July.

The committee is looking for suggestions as to what other events should also be staged on that weekend.
