A WOMAN has admitted throwing bleach at her ex-partner following an argument, narrowly avoiding his eyes.
Kirsty Godson (40) of Cornmill Road, Sutton, pleaded guilty to common assault and criminal damage at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court.
She had got into a spat with her former partner after he came to her house to pick up their young son.
Miss Godson had been cleaning her driveway at the time and she threw the bleach at the car splashing through an open window, hitting his face, clothes and body work of his car. It was heard how the victim was lucky to have been wearing sunglasses at the time.
Defending, Mary Dixon, said it was an impulsive action and the defendant was ‘mortified’ by what she had done. She returns to court tomorrow.
