CHILDREN from the six Sutton Cluster of Schools will be helping the Idlewells Shopping Centre get into the spirit of Christmas by performing a Carol Concert in centre on Friday 16th December, between 12pm and 2pm.
The children will all be performing eight classic Christmas carols for shoppers at the centre.
And to continue the spirit of goodwill the Idlewells is joining forces with the John Eastwood Hospice to collect donations of Christmas Gifts with a special Giving Tree.
The Tree will be located outside the Specsavers store. within Idlewells and shoppers are asked to think of others this festive season and make a small gift donation to the collection. All gifts will be delivered to the Hospice before Christmas.
Andrew Wraight, Idlewells centre manager said: “The children joined us last year for a Carol Concert but this year it is set to be even better! I know they all have been busy practicing their song choices. I also hope our Giving Tree this year is successful too, its always amazes me how generous our shoppers can be, especially at Christmas.”
