An 11-year-old Doctor Who superfan has had his dream come true after interviewing THREE former Doctors Sylvester McCoy, Peter Davison and Colin Baker.
George Buckland, of Sutton, got the exclusive interview with the show’s legends and asked them all about their favourite moments being the Doctor - and also how to get into acting.
He managed to get the interview as his photographer dad, Richard Buckland, has taken pictures of many celebrities and has contacts in the industry.
Richard said: “I am very proud of George, he does struggle to make friends sometimes so to do this kind of interview on camera in front of three very famous people is a massive step for George.
“I was actually more nervous than George during the interview because I had to film it for him, I am no stranger to cameras or celebrities in my line of work as a professional studio and concert photographer, however I take still images as a job not video. He was fantastic.”
The event was held at an all day Sci-fi event held by company EM-CON at The Capital FM Arena on 15th March.
Mapplewells Primary School pupil George took the interview in his stride.
“I don’t think the day could have got any better. I was made to feel so special and important by EM-CON and the Doctors, I even got a press pass like my Dad.
“The organiser Lee Wallis gave me a cuddly Dalek after the interview, I love it.”
The youngster is aspiring to be an actor and has even set his sights on becoming the 16th doctor.
He has started the ball rolling by creating his own YouTube channel.
