PUPILS from Sutton’s Dalestorth Primary School are running their own version of The Apprentice.

The Hill Crescent youngsters have been tasked with drawing, designing and preparing food for a cafe style menu as part of their Beach and River project.

The project is being sponsored by Frankie & Benny’s, who have donated a prize to the winning team of a meal for 12 children and 2 adults.

Julia Hill, teaching assistant, said: “We wanted to do something that would get the kids switched on and get them involved with the community.

“Many of them know about The Apprentice show and they have really enjoyed doing the project.”

The children’s meals will be presented to a panel of judges made up of parents and school governors on Friday 23rd November at the school at 2pm.
