Sutton man charged with firearm offences

A 33-year-old man has been charged with firearm offences after weapons and ammunition were found at a house in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Darren Lee Moss, of Tudor Street, has been charged with four counts of acquiring prohibited ammunition.

He also faces a charge of possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, gas or electrical incapacitation device, possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate and possessing criminal property.

He is also charged with an unrelated harassment offence.

Moss has been bailed to appear at Mansfield Magistrates Court on Monday 31 December 2012.
