Sutton man attacked with metal weapon on way home from night out

A Sutton man was hit in the head with a metal object on his way home from a night out.

Two men attacked the victim on Stoneyford Road, Sutton, by the park around 2am on Saturday 7th February.

The victim suffered a deep cut to his forehead and needed stitches. He was taken to hospital for the treatment.

The first attacker is described as 5ft 6ins tall, of average build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black Nike tracksuit bottoms and white Nike trainers.

The second attacker was also described as 5ft 6ins tall, of average build, wearing grey jogging bottoms and a jacket with a hooded jumper underneath.
