Sun has its hat on for Model Village’s Summer Fayre
It was smiles on faces aplenty as the sun shone brightly on Shirebrook Model Village’s Summer Fayre at the weekend.
Held at the Victoria Hotel on Saturday, among the entertainment featured were car boot sale-style stalls, a raffle, children’s rides and a disco.
The event was organised by the model village’s tenants and resident’s association and follows a similar previous event held at Christmas.
“It was a very good turn-out, no doubt helped by the smashing weather, and it seemed like everyone was having a great time, especially the younger ones,” said attendee Pete Waby.
