SPECSAVERS Mansfield wants folk to buy an extra Christmas gift and drop it off at its store - which will then be donated to local charities.

The West Gate store says the appeal also provides an ideal opportunity for people to give away any unwanted Christmas present.

Said Imogen Hoyle, store director: “For most of us Christmas is a time for happiness and giving and receiving presents but sadly for some people that is not the case. We just want to bring some holiday cheer to those less fortunate and help them on their way to a happy New Year.”

Any local charity interested in receiving the gifts should visit the store or contact Mansfield 650 273.
