Visitors took a step back in time at Rufford Abbey at the weekend as the country park hosted an exhibition show of different historical periods from Roman times to the present day.
Nottinghamshire County Council hosted the sixth Grand Historical Bazaar, organised in conjunction with EventPlan.
As well as living history encampments, re-enactors also relived different periods of history.
There was an opportunity to look through and purchase artefacts and items on more than 80 trader stalls and 30 living history groups.
People were also invited to bring along those unwanted historical items and it is a chance to sell, swop, buy all manner of new and second hand clothing, uniforms, model soldiers, weaponry, antiques, pictures and books.
A spokesman for the council said: “There were several thousand people there and it was slightly bigger than last year’s event – it was enjoyed by all.”
