Artists, musicians, singers, dancers, Thespians and other entertainers are being urged to step forward to showcase their talent at the Mansfield Arts Festival.

The festival, which is organised by Mansfield District Council, will take place between 6th July and 21st July.

Events confirmed already includes the James Maude Camera Club exhibition and Mansfield Society of Artists’ exhibition at Mansfield Museum, a children’s theatre performance by

Booster Cushion Theatre Company in the library, a live acoustic open mic session, two evenings of live folk music in the Black Bull pub, an open day at Ghost Academy of Performing Arts and a one-man show of performance poetry and stand-up comedy.

The Arts Festival programme will also feature the closing shows of the Palace Theatre’s community production of Brassed Off.
