Shotguns stolen from Derbyshire home

Polcie are appealing after three shotguns were stolen from a house in Palterton, near Bolsover.

The homeowner, who has a licence for the weapons, left his house in Main Street, in the village between Bolsover and Shirebrook at 1pm on Thursday, February 9. When he returned at 4pm he found the back door had been smashed.

A distinctive 12 bore Beretta with a ported barrel was stolen along with a 16 bore William Evans side by side shotgun. Both weapons are gun metal grey. A 20 bore over and under Browning was also taken.
