Firefighters freed a 19 year-old woman from a Fiat Punto car after the vehicle overturned and went into a ditch.
The collision happened about 7am, today, Wednesday, September 25, on Common Lane, Shirebrook.
A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “The car overturned on the carriageway and went into a ditch and one female had to be extricated.”
Derbyshire Constabulary closed the road for about an hour-and-a-half and controlled traffic during the fire service rescue.
The woman was taken to King’s Mill Hospital, Nottingham, but police said she was not believed to have been seriously injured.
