Members of the public and stakeholders in the trust that runs King’s Mill Hospital are being invited to receive an update on progress made against recommendations of the Keogh Report.
Chief Executive Paul O’Connor will give the update on Thursday 7th November from 8.30am to 9.30am.
It will be followed by the trust’s board of directors’ public meeting chaired by trust chairman Sean Lyons, which will be held until 1pm.
Among topics on the agenda are ‘patient story’, quality and patient safety, governance, risk and insurance, and whistleblowing policy.
The meetings will be held at The Towers, on Botany Avenue, in Mansfield.
A copy of the agenda and papers are available on the trust’s internet site at http://www.sfh-tr.nhs.uk/index.php/board-of-directors/
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of 11 hospital trusts across England that has been placed in special measures by Sir Bruce Keogh and given an action plan to improve.
Mr O’Connor has said previously that he is ‘confident’ that the organisation is making the required process and will continue to do so.
