If you think you might be the next Beyonce, Timberlake or perhaps you can rock out like the Killers then Supergroup are looking for the cream of Nottinghamshire’s talented musicians and songwriters for a new band
Young musicians aged 13-19 years-old who can sing, play an instrument, write songs, or are a great performer, can come and audition at the Old Library in Mansfield on Wednesday 23rd October as part of our Making Music Week.
Last year’s SUPERGROUP ‘New Communication’ mixed soul, pop and R n B https://www.facebook.com/NewCommunicationMusic?fref=ts and went on to write, record and release an EP, perform at several high profile gigs including BBC Introducing Gig, The Ashes at Trent Bridge, Stealth and are currently producing a video with NUSIC and collaborating with a high profile artist leading to a performance at the Royal Concert Hall.
Making Music Week takes place in half term between 21st and 25th October and is a chance for young people aged 13-19 years-old to have a go at songwriting, production, performance, audition for SUPERGROUP, and to find out about working for our record label In The End Records.
Andy Dawson, County youth arts, said: “It’s an amazing opportunity for young people to perform at a professional level and seeing New Communication grow as performers and as people over the last year has been a joy to see.”
