SCARCLIFFE: Man hospitalised after car collides with pedestrians

A man was taken to hospital after being hit by a car over the weekend.

The 46-year-old from Kirkby-in-Ashfield and two females were involved in a collision with a Subaru Impreza on the B6147 road in Scarcliffe on Sunday (September 8).

He was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre by ambulance with head and leg injuries, which police say are not life-threatening.

A 16-year-old girl was also injured and a third female escaped without any injuries.

Police closed the road until around 1.40pm.
