Police say roads in Mansfield Woodhouse closed earlier due to the overturned Asda lorry are unlikely to reopen before 10pm tonight.

The incident took place shortly before 11am on Leeming Lane at its junction with Peafield Lane and Sandgate Lane.

The lorry shed its load of alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and tinned items and brought down a traffic light and barriers.

No other vehicles were involved and the lorry driver was uninjured.

The A60 Warsop to Mansfield road remains closed in both directions at the A6075 Peafield Lane junction due to recovery work.

Public transport providers in the area have been informed of the likelihood of continuing delays.
