Violence

Gemma Louise Annie Bailey-Rathbone, 35, of Park Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted two counts of assaulting a male and committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge. She was jailed for six weeks suspended for 12 months, given a one-year restraining order and made to pay £165 in costs;

Jack Dexter Bacon, 26, of no fixed address, was found guilty after a trial of assaulting a male in Kirkby and admitted causing harassment, alarm or distress,used threatening, abusive or insulting language or behaviour. He was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and made to pay £280 in costs.

Theft

Kerry Ann Causer, 33, of Willow Crescent, Sutton, admitted stealing tins of salmon from Costcutter in Huthwaite and was given a community order with three months’ curfew, made to pay £10.74 compensation and £145 in costs;

Ryan Hawsley, 26, of The Paddocks, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted receiving stolen goods, namely hair straighteners and was fined £120 and made to pay £105 in costs;

Christopher Morton, 39, c/o Eccleston Walk, Mansfield, admitted stealing coffee pods and chicken breast fillets worth £14 from Tesco and assaulting a male. He was jailed for 20 weeks and made to pay £100 compensation to the victim of the assault;

Benjamin Trevor Ross, 30, of Somersall street, Mansfield, admitted stealing washing powder from Asda and perfume from New Look and being caught in Poundland for an unlawful purpose. He was jailed for 10 weeks and made to pay £8 compensation;

Michal Markiewicz, 27, of Burlington Drive, Mansfield, admitted stealing a shaving brush from Boots and failing to surrender top custody. He was fined £40 and made to pay £105 in costs;

Jeanette Talbot, 46, of Layton Burroughs, Mansfield, admitted stealing candles and baby products worth over £290 from Boots and failing to surrender to custody. She was fined £200 and made to pay £20 costs;

Mihai Talian, 31, of Brierley Cottages, Sutton admitted stealing groceries from Asda worth £15, two polo shirts from Sports Direct, jeans worth £45 from River Island and two polo shirts worth £32 from Beales. He was given a community order with 60 hours unpaid work and made to pay £230 in costs;

Shane Ward, 38, of Tideswell Court, Mansfield admitted three counts of theft by stealing items worth almost £256 from Mansfield Aquatic Reptile & Pet Centre and was jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months, told to pay £48.99 in compensation and £165 in costs;

Mark Anthony Watts, 44, of Main Street, Huthwaite, admitted stealing a DVD player from Aldi and was jailed for four weeks suspended for six months and made to pay £165 in costs.

Motoring

Gary Lumley, 49, of Maid Marion Way, New Ollerton, admitted driving a Jaguar while disqualified and without insurance. He was fined £600, given six penalty points and made to pay £60 costs;

Callum Paul Jeremy Raworth, 20, of Greenwood Avenue, Huthwaite, admitted riding a Yamaha motorbike and Ford Focus while already disqualified, two counts of driving without insurance, not wearing protective headgear and having no test certificate. He was jailed for 26 weeks suspended for 18 months, banned from driving for 12 months and made to pay £165 in costs;

Craig Richard Gibson, 33, of Sanders Avenue, Mansfield, was found guilty of having driven a Vauxhall without a licence or insurance and was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Mariusz Wladyslaw Grzeszczyk, 43, of Leeming Lane South, Mansfield Woodhouse, was found guilty of having driven a Toyota with insurance and while using a mobile phone and was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Zachary James Hooper, 20, of Sadler Street, Mansfield, admitted driving a Peugeot without insurance and was fined £320, given six penalty points and made to pay £117 in costs;

Kyle Jonathan Jordan, 23, of Central Avenue, Mansfield, was found guilty of driving a Vauxhall without insurance and was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Thomas James Straw, 24, of Diamond Avenue, Kirkby, was found guilty of driving at 45mph in a 30mph in a Ford Transit and fined £440, given five penalty points and made to pay £129 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Stacey Kerrina Watchorn, 30, of Rosedale Way, Forest Town, admitted driving a Toyota while using a mobile phone and was fined £40, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Kayley Louise Marke, 25, of Eakring Road, Mansfield, admitted driving a Renault Megane at 45mph in a 30mph zone and was fined £200, given four penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

David Price, 51, of Ninth Avenue, Forest Town, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a Vauxhall Corsa that was alleged to have been guilty of an offence and he was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £85 costs;

Neil Bentley, 57, of Leeming Park, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted using a mobile phone while driving a Ford Fiesta and was fined £115, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Scott Thomas Bithel, 32, of Egerton Close, Mansfield, admitted driving a BMW at 45mph in a 30mph zone and was fined £105, given five penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Adam Lee Corrigan, 31, of Laurel Avenue, Mansfield, was found guilty of running a red light while driving an Alfa Romeo and was fined £220, given penalty points and made to pay £107 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Daniel Holmes, 28, of Normanton Drive, Mansfield, was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving a VW and was fined £220, given three penalty points made to pay £107 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Zoe Smith, 31, of Ploughmans Grove, Huthwaite, was found guilty of driving a Mazda at 67mph in a 50mph zone and was fined £440, given four penalty points and made to pay £129 in costs;

Adam John Perry, 20, of Half Moon Drive, Kirkby, admitted permitting another person to ride a Yamaha motorbike when there was no insurance in place for the other person. He was banned from driving for six months, fined £120 and made to pay £105 in costs.

Criminal Damage

Adam Milne, 27, of Gibson Court, Boughton, admitted damaging two cell walls belonging to the court service and was given a 12-month conditional discharge and made to pay £15 costs.

Drugs

Steven Binch, 35, of Ashwood Avenue, Kirkby, admitted possessing cannabis and possessing a machete in public. He was jailed for four months and made to pay £80 costs.

Miscellaneous

Jamie Redfern, 37, of Hibbert Road, Mansfield, was jailed for 28 days over non-payment of a £550 imposed in July last year. He was also told to pay £10 every two weeks;

Phillip Williams, 56, of Huthwaite Road, Sutton, was jailed for 13 days over non-payment of £1,140 imposed in May last year. He was also told to £50 every month.
