Violence

Daniel Amatt, 25 of Botany Avenue, Mansfield , admitted a prolonged assault on a woman while in drink/drugs. The offence was committed while on bail, with a record of violence. He was given a 20 month suspended sentence, with an 18 month supervision requirement and ordered to pay £100 compensation.

Theft

Christopher John Jordan, 32, of Stockwell Court Mansfield pleaded guilty to stealing razor blades worth £78 from Asda and failing to surrender to custody at Mansfield Magistrates Court. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months with victim surcharge of £15 and criminal courts charge of £150.

Scott Alexander Brown, 34, of Woolaton Road, Kirkby pleaded guilty to stealing food valued at £3.18 from Select Convenience. He was sent to prison for two weeks because the offending was within a month of being given a suspended sentence, aggravated by his record, overall sentence 12 weeks. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and criminal courts charge of £150.

Hayden Rivers, 36 of Nesbitt Street, Sutton stole a Tom Tom sat nav valued at £110. He was committed to prison for 90 days due to his record of previous offending and history of non-compliance with court orders. He was ordered to pay £80 victim surcharge and criminal courts charge of £180.

Gregory Welsh, 28, of Roosvelt Road, Sutton stole two boxes of Christmas lights valued at £64 from B&Q. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months with victim surcharge of £15 and criminal court charge of £150.

Pawel Grzegorz Pyek, 33, of Park Avenue, Mansfield stole a gilet worth £18 from Primark. He was fined £150 with victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 and criminal court charges of £150.

Criminal damage

Charles Edward Jenkins, 24, of Skerry Hill damaged a mobile phone belonging to a woman, valued at £500. He was fined £100, with compensation of £250, victim surcharge of £20 and criminal court charge of £150

Drink Driving

Alan Steven Parkin, 47, of French Terrace, Langwith admitted driving with 43 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath when the legal limit is 35 mcg. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £100 with victim surcharge of £20 and criminal courts charge of £150.

Mark Anthony Hunt, 33, of Willow avenue, Kirkby drove a vehicle with 101mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Hunt also admitted damaging a window belonging to a woman. He was disqualified from driving for 26 months with costs of £85 and criminal courts charge of £150. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation and a restraining order was made. A community order was made to participate in a building better relationships course for 31 days.

Matthew Edward Francis, 34 of Worcester Avenue, Mansfield pleaded guilty to driving with 75 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £120, with costs of £85 and criminal court charge of £150 and victim surcharge of £20.

Kyle Robert Marsh, 26, of Ladybrook Lane, Mansfield failed to provide a specimen of blood for analysis. he was fined £675, with victim surcharge of £67, costs of £85 and criminal courts charge of £150. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Miscellaneous

James Kelly, 59 of Redcliffe Street, Sutton admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. He was fined £160, with victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Daniel James Meakin, 20 of Scarcliffe Street, Mansfield, obstructed a constable in the execution of her duty. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months ordered to pay compensation of £50, victim surcharge of £15 and criminal courts charge of £150.

James Levison, 24, of Layton Avenue, Mansfield pleaded guilty to arson after he damaged curtains worth £20 belonging to Haven Housing. He was discharged conditionally for 6 months, ordered to pay £20 compensation and criminal court charge of £180.

Michael Sylvester Morely, 22, of Kingsway, Kirkby admitted using threatening and abusive behaviour towards a woman. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days with 60 hours unpaid work. There were costs of £85 a victim surcharge of £60 and criminal courts charge of £150.

Drugs

Matthew Savage, 27 of Mansfield Road Warsop admitted producing 12 cannabis plants. He was fined £300, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £30, with costs of £85.

Mark Lee Gwynne, 38, of Sutton Road, Huthwaite admitted possesing cannabis and failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Mansfield Magistrates’ Court. 
He was given a four week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, fined £95 with £20 victim surcharge and criminal court charge of £180.
