SOUTH Normanton’s Post Mill Centre is more than a community hall it is a multi-function venue to suit all occasions for all people.
From humble beginnings it has grown into a fabulous facility the whole community can enjoy and benefit from with its top class interiors, which can be adapted according to the event as well as a play park and patio.
The centre has become a big part of the community and surrounding areas leading to organisations such as Derby County Council and Derbyshire health services using us for conferences and training events.

The centre has a new manager at its helm steering it into a calendar of events leading up to the festive season and beyond. Tracey Cannon has lived in the district all her life, knows the people and shares a commitment to make The Post Mill Centre everyone’s first choice.
“I am passionate about the Post Mill and its role within the local community,” said Tracey. “I also care about making it the best venue in the district and attracting new clients from further afield to show them our fantastic venue and all we have to offer.”
One of the reasons The Post Mill Centre, is such a success and attracting different groups and businesses from across the area, is because of the superb surroundings and the excellent team behind the scenes.
“We have a terrific team of people who work together to ensure the events run smoothly,” added Tracey. “They are a highly committed group of individuals who offer an efficient and friendly, yet professional service.”
Some of the events lined up in the coming weeks include a Shadow of Motown Night on Saturday 15th October. This top theatre show features a seven piece band playing some Motown favourites from The Supremes to The Four Tops and many more.
