A lorry carrying hundreds of tins of paint crashed on the A57 at Lindrick Common this morning.
The articulated lorry, which was carrying 5,000 litres of emulsion in 2.5 litre cans, left the road near the near Lindrick Golf Club and overturned at around 10.50am.
The driver was trapped in the cab and set free by crews from Worksop, Anston and Darnell fire stations.
He was conveyed to hospital by the East Midlands air ambulance. Some paint spilled across the road and was cleared by fire crews.
