Youngsters in the Bolsover area have the opportunity to take part in a number of OzBox sessions running throughout the autumn.
Ozbox is a non-contact boxing-based fitness programme which combines circuit training and boxing skills to improve confidence, discipline and fitness. It also helps officers to build positive relationships with youngsters.
The scheme, which is run throughout Derbyshire, was first set up with the aim of helping to reduce anti-social behaviour.
Sessions will take place at Bainbridge Hall on Chapel Road, Carr Vale between 6.30 and 8pm on:

PCSO Ben Parry of the Bolsover and Shuttlewood Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “Sessions are open to all youngsters over the age of eight in the area, whether they have boxing experience or not and is a fun way to get fit and learn new skills.”
Under 16s will need to have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian. Forms are available from Bolsover police station or at the sessions.
