AN OUTDOOR theatre production of children’s book The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark will be performed at White Post Farm this August.
The play is based on the 1968 children’s book by Jill Tomlinson and tells the tale of Plop, the baby Barn Owl and his fear of darkness. It has been created especially for children aged Between 3-7 years.
It features a blend of live music, handcrafted puppets and spellbinding storytelling with actor-musicians bringing the tale to life for a new generation of theatre-goers.
Audiences join Plop on a journey into the night-time world of campfires, fireworks, starry nights and moonlit adventures.
Young audiences will be entertained by the handcrafted puppets of Orion the cat, the Grandma and a plethora of woodland animals.
