One taken to hospital after Markham Moor smash
One person was taken to hospital after a car accident in Markham Moor this morning.
The incident, which happened shortly before 12 noon, involved two cars which had collided with each other on the A1.
When emergency services arrived, one person had managed to get themselves out of the wreckage but one person had to be cut out by firefighters.
They were then taken to hospital by land ambulance.
