Nottinghamshire Police post car crime info on Twitter

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE Police is posting details of all thefts from vehicles this week on the social networking website, Twitter.

The move forms part of the force’s three-month campaign to reduce thefts from vehicles - especially in the run-up to Christmas.

Folk do not need a Twitter account to the follow the online activity, but simply go to twitter.com/nottspolice.

A live online chat will also be held with Supt Mike Manley tomorrow, between 7-8pm. Followers of the police Twitter account can send their questions for Supt Manley to fhqpro@nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk.

Alternatively, questions can be sent during the live chat using the #mindyourmotor hashtag.

Anyone with information about car crime should contact 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
