RESIDENTS are being reminded to take advantage of Nottinghamshire County Council’s customer service points in Mansfield and Ashfield.
Mansfield’s Customer Service Point is currently located at Regent Street along with the town’s temporary library until January 2012 whilst the permanent facility is revamped.
Sutton’s service point is located in the Idlewells Shopping Centre.
The facilities are manned by trained advisors who can offer advice, guidance and information on services run by the Council and partner organisations and assist with the completion of forms.
Both are open Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.
Councillor Martin Suthers, Deputy Leader of Nottinghamshire County Council, said: “These customer service points offer a vital lifeline to many local people who prefer face-to-face contact for information on a wide range of issues.
“Due to its temporary location the number of visitors to the Mansfield facility have decreased so we would like to remind local people that it is business as usual whilst improvements are made to the its permanent location at the town’s library.”
Information on the Council’s services is also available on its website at www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk or by telephoning its customer service centre on 08449 80 80 80 Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm or Saturdays 8am to 12noon.
Alternatively residents can email the Council at email@example.com
