Noticeboard keeping Bolsover residents informed
Residents of Bolsover are keeping up to date with community events in their town after the erection of a noticeboard by the town’s Rotarians.
Rotary club president Frank Hawkins said: “We had seen the need for all local community groups to have an opportunity to publicise forthcoming events in a prominent place in the town and with help from Bolsover Town Council and courtesy of Messrs Riley’s Electrical, organised the placing of the board in the Market Place” .
District council chairman Cllr Ken Walker said: “I am pleased to see that already lots of local events are advertised, and I’m sure it will be used and read more and more as Bolsover people got to know about it.”
Notices about forthcoming community and charity events are welcomed and can be left at Riley’s Electrical or posted to Geoff Davis 41 Castle Lane Bolsover S44 6PS. There is no charge and the notices will be posted every Thursday.
