Nominate Newark and Sherwood heroes

DO you know a Newark and Sherwood resident who deserves to be recognised for their personal achievements or dedication to the community?

If so, why not nominate them for Citizen of the Year 2012 - an award scheme which recognises service to the community or an individual’s personal achievements. Age categories are under 25s, 26 to 59 and 60 and over.

Just give the name of the nominee and state why you think they deserve the award. Include the nominee’s age (in December 2012) and include your name, address and a contact number.

Entries should be sent to: The Chairman’s Office, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Kelham Hall, Newark, Notts, NG23 5QX. Alternatively, email nominations to civic.office@nsdc.info

Closing date for entries is 2nd November, 2012. Winners will be announced at the council’s civic carol service at Kelham Hall on Wednesday, 5th December.
