Night Sky course at Sherwood Observatory

A non-accredited Night Sky basic course is to be held at the Sherwood Observatory at Sutton.

It involves a series of astronomy lectures set at a basic level, begins on 12th October, and runs on Friday evenings for nine weeks.

Each session runs 7.30-10pm and participants will be able to observe the night sky through the society’s telescopes (weather permitting).

The course costs £40 for adults, £20 for under18s (juniors under 16 can only be accepted if accompanied at all times by their parent/guardian who must be enrolled on the course).
