Visitors to the National Trust’s Clumber Park will have the chance to tantalize their taste buds with the very best of locally produced food from the region as the Clumber Food Fair returns the weekend of Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th May

Over the two days The Stableyard near the main visitor facilities will be transformed into a market place with an array of tempting produce to try and buy fresh from a selection of local producers.

The Fair showcases producers from Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, and Leicestershire, all within a 45 mile radius of Clumber Park. There will be a variety of stalls offering all sorts of delights, from local and regional cheeses and meats, to treats for those with a sweet tooth including pastries, tarts chocolates and confectionary.

Events and Functions Assistant, Miriam Kirby said: “All of the stallholders have been selected based on their proximity to Clumber Park and the quality of the products they supply. We have got a really good mix of products on show and there will be plenty of samples to try so the event will be a great addition to a day out at Clumber Park.”

The National Trust is a committed champion of local food producers and several of the stallholders already supply their products to Clumber Park and other Trust properties in the area.

The Clumber Park Food Fair takes place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 May 2012, between 10am and 5pm in The Stableyard, Clumber Park. Normal admission charges to the Park apply.
