Local school children will be belting out pop classics at Mansfield Museum's Cool Choirs event this week.
The event starts on Wednesday and features a number of Nottinghamshire schools including St Patrick's l, Oak Tree Lane , St Philip Neri and Morven Park primary schools singing top pop hits.
Coun Kate Allsop, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration at Mansfield District Council, commented: "There are few things more heart-warming than hearing your child sing.
"I would urge parents to come along to the Cool Choirs event to support their children and to bring other family members and friends with them, to see the excellent and creative displays of pop memorabilia on offer – there really is something to suit every taste."
There are two sessions on each day running from 10.30am-11.30am and 1.30pm-2.30pm and for more information ring the museum on Mansfield 463088.
