A motorist suffered minor injuries following a crash in Mansfield Woodhouse when his car overturned.
The incident happened shortly before 7am on Wednesday, 13th May, when the driver lost control of his Seat Alhambra and the vehicle ended up on its roof.
A central refuge light was damaged and the vehicle blocked one side of the carriageway for an hour before a recovery truck could remove it.
Police and the ambulance service attended, and the 27-year-old driver was treated at the scene. No arrests were made.
Local resident, Ray Houldsworth, took a photograph of the scene.
He said: “I’ve worked in the special constabulary on 24-hour recovery and I’ve seen quite a few of these incidents but looking at this, you have to think how on earth it could have happened.
“I couldn’t tell what type of car it was, and the traffic was all the way back to the low bridge.”
