POLICE in Burton are appealing for help in finding a 39-year old man who has been reported missing.
Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Jason Rowland who has been missing from his home in the Winshill area of Burton for almost a week.
Police officers investigating his disappearance say he may be in the Chesterfield or Mansfield areas and are liaising with police colleagues in the Derbyshire force.
“Mr Rowland had not been seen by his family for about two weeks before he was reported missing,” said investigating officer, PC Matthew Hall of Burton Police.
“Naturally, they are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety. We are appealing for anyone with information as to where he may to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
Mr Rowland, who was reported missing on Wednesday, 9 February, is white, about 5ft 9ins tall and slim. He has shaven hair and is normally clean shaven.
