A marketing agency based in South Normanton has been unveiled as the lead digital partner for Europe’s largest multi-sports festival for businesses.

Purpose Media, which specialises in e-commerce websites, web design, video, branding and PR, will raise the profile of the 2017 UK Corporate Games as part of the prestigious deal.

The Games, which take place at Nottingham University between July 6 and 9, will feature thousands of competitors from hundreds of employers across the UK. They will take part in a range of sports from football and rugby to swimming, cycling and tennis.

Purpose Media’s marketing services director, Katrina Starkie, said: “We’re pleased to be partnering such a high-profile event. It was a real coup for Nottingham to be selected as the host city.

“We are passionate about sport and also about helping local businesses to succeed and grow, so we hope to share our expertise to support the event.”

Teams and individuals representing all kinds of companies and organisations can enter the Corporate Games, whose director Ben Sedgemore said: “We are delighted to have Purpose Media on board. We have been impressed by the advice and support they have given us.”
