Staff at a Mansfield shop have been digging deep to raise cash for a hospice.

Workers from Wilkinson’s on Clumber Street rolled up their sleeves to transform a neglected garden at Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield.

There were joined by workers from 10 other Wilkinson stores around the region where they helped create a patio and raised flower beds, which involved mixing and laying 40 bags of cement, erecting 250-uni logs and shifting 20 tonnes of stones.
