A PAIR of identical twins from Mansfield have had a taste of the limelight after starring in a nationally broadcast television advert.

Twenty-two-month-old brothers Charlie and Matthew Lindo, of Charnwood Grove, are currently appearing in an advertisement for kitchen towel Plenty alongside superhero cleaner Juan Sheet.

The twins landed the role a few months after their proud mum Lorraine registered them both with an agency in London.

She says that she and her partner Paul Lindo are very proud of their two sons and enjoyed the day’s filming in London.

“As a parent you always want to show off your children and the producers said how well behaved they both were,” she said.

“They treated us very well and paid for our expenses down to London and put us up in a hotel, they were all very laid back and it was a nice experience.

“The money they were paid was not mega bucks but it will be put away in their accounts for the future.”

Lorraine says she was inundated with text and Facebook messages when the advert first came on television.

“I wasn’t the first to see it and I was getting messages from friends who had seen it first,” she added.

“It took all day to film but what struck me about the advert was how quick it was, I think it lasted about 20 seconds.”
