MANSFIELD Town have offered their support to Chad/KMH new MRI Scanner Appeal.

We have teamed up with the hospital in a bid to raise £750,000 for a state-of-the-art MRI scanner, which will help hospital staff provide quicker, safer and more detailed diagnosis to hundreds of thousands of patients across Mansfield and Ashfield.

The campaign has already been backed by Mansfield MP Sir Alan Meale and Ashfield MP Gloria De Piero.

Now Mansfield Town have joined the growing list urging local folk to deep deep and back their hospital.

Said Chief Executive Officer Carolyn Still: “We are fully behind this appeal in conjunction with Chad & King’s Mill Hospital. I hope plenty of Stags fans will give generously to help raise the funds required for this very worthwhile cause.

“As the Town’s Football Club, we will do all we can to assist King’s Mill in reaching this target, which will benefit thousands of people in our community each year.

“The Robin Hood Children’s Ward at King’s Mill has been the club’s official charity for a number of years and we are fully aware of the great service the hospital provides.”

Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website or by cheque.

All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
