A man and woman who were allegedly caught with heroin have both denied a charge of possessing heroin with intent to supply, and supplying the drug.

Tammy Rebecca Godley (26) of Stanton Place, Mansfield, and Paul Shetliffe (44) of no fixed address stood side-by-side at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court and pleaded not guilty.

Robert Carr, prosecuting, said police had observed Godley leave the house and sell drugs to another person. After stopping her, the police allege they found heroin on her.

They then found Shetliffe at her address along with 20 ‘wraps’ of heroin, ready to be sold as deals.

The pair were bailed to appear at Nottingham Crown Court for a trial on 11 December.
