Mansfield Library celebrates its 40th birthday
It is four decades since Mansfield Central Library was opened by the Queen during her Silver Jubilee celebrations.
The library which is on West Gate, opened 40 years ago on Friday, with thousands lining the streets as Queen Elizabeth opened the library on July 28, 1977, during the celebrations of her Silver Jubilee year.
