PLANS to build 12 terraced houses on an old factory site have been given the go-ahead.
The homes on Fisher Lane were passed by Mansfield District Council.
The brownfield site was once occupied by a cash and carry outlet which has since been demolished.
There had been three letters of objection from residents who were concerned there were too many houses.
Planners voted unanimously in favour.

Coun Brian Lohan said: “I was brought up in that area and remember when it was a thriving area.
“Since then it has fallen into disuse, so I welcome this development and believe it will enhance the area.”
