A Mansfield company is at the centre of an investigation by trading standards.
Direct Payments Service Users Limited (DiPSU), on Oakham Business Park, Hamilton Way, was targeted by a number of officers and accompanied by police during a recent raid.
The company advises vulnerable adults, the disabled and the elderly on arranging care.
Paul McKay, service director for access and public protection at the council, said: “The council’s trading standards team is undertaking an investigation into Direct Payments Service Users Limited (DiPSU).
“It is not possible to share any further detail whilst the investigation is ongoing.
“It is not anticipated that there should be any immediate disruption to service users.”
