Mansfield Christmas bin collection dates

The alterative dates for the Christmas waste collection in Mansfield have now been released so find out if your bin day has moved over the festive period.

If a bin collection is due on Friday, December 25 , Christmas Day, it will be collected on Saturday 19 December instead.

If a bin collection is due on Friday, January, New Year’s Day then it will be collected on Saturday 2 January instead. This will be your green general waste bin.

Bins due for collection on Monday, December, 28, Bank Holiday Monday, and Thursday, December, 31, New Year’s Eve will be collected as normal.

If a bin has not been collected during severe weather leave it out and Mansfield District Council will get to it as soon as possible.

Garden waste - brown bin - collections are now monthly from December to February. Residents should check their calendar for details or call 01623 463463.

Rounds may be done in a different order so bins need to be ready to be collected by 6.30am.

In the town centre the green sack service will be operating as normal on Tuesday 22 and Tuesday 29 December.

The recycling centres, which are operated by Nottinghamshire County Council are open every day of the year except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

During December and January the sites will be open from 8am to 4pm.
