Mansfield businessman Phil Constantine raised more than £1,100 for Portland College after completing Europe’s longest zipwire.

The Atmospheric Interiors worker descended along a 600ft wire at speeds up to 100mph in North Wales.

Phil said: “It was a great experience, especially with the thought of £1,100 resting on my shoulders for a great cause, I would recommend anyone to get up and have a go!”

The college is raising funds to build a £2m sports academy for pupils with mental and physical disabilities.
