ONE of Mansfield’s oldest and most respected companies is backing Chad’s Business Awards to showcase local entrepreneurial talent.
Mansfield Building Society is sponsoring the Entrepreneur of the Year category in our annual bid to find the very best businesses in the area and reward their success.
The Mansfield was established as a building society more than 140 years ago and works for the exclusive benefit of its members.
Sales and marketing manger Mike Taylor said this week: “We are delighted to again be associated with the 2012 business awards.
“The awards showcase local business talent which ultimately can only benefit the local economy and help to generate local jobs.”
The society offers a range of competitive mortgage options and attractive savings products, including innovative solutions for first time buyers.
It is currently one of a small number of lenders currently offering 95 per cent mortgages without insisting on parental guarantees.
The fourth edition of our awards will find and reward the very best local companies and entrepreneurs.
There are some top prizes up for grabs again, ranging from Business Idea of the Year and Young Business Person of the Year to Community Contribution of the Year and Most Innovative Property/Building Development.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 22nd November with a glittering event at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex at Sookholme, where the best of the area’s business community will be showcased.
The black tie event will see guests enjoy a champagne reception, four-course meal and ceremony.
Tickets for the awards evening are on sale now, tables of 10 people can be purchased for £500 plus vat and individual tickets are £50 plus vat per person.
