Man in critical condition after Sutton crash

The collision, which involved a red panel van and a black saloon car, happened on Coxmoor Road just before 8pm.

Police say the 29-year-old van driver was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre where he remains in a critical condition.

The car driver, a 55-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with injuries. He is in a stable condition.

Roads were closed while emergency services attended the incident and were re-opened just after 4am today (Sunday).
