Man hit by a car in Ollerton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Ollerton.

At 5.15pm on Thursday 27th March, a man was walking on the pavement in Newark Road when he was believed to have been hit by a black car.

The driver of the car, a Jaguar, then threatened the victim before driving away.

The victim, who is thought to be in his late 20s, suffered minor injuries as a result.

The driver of the car is described as white, in his 50s, about 5ft 9ins tall and of a stocky/muscular build.

He has short dark hair with grey flecks in it and was wearing a chequered shirt.

The passenger in the car is thought to be about 15-years-old with cropped ginger hair.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw or has any more information about the incident.
