Man freed from car after it crashed into house

Police were called to a report after a car crashed into a house.

Firefighters freed a man from the vehicle at the scene in Mansfield Road, Farnsfield, at around 8.20am today (Tuesday, August 1) before he was treated by paramedics and taken to Queen’s Medical Centre.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The road was closed at the Cockett Lane junction for a short time but it has now been reopened.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 138 of August 1.
