A crash on the M1 caused all three lanes to close temporarily.

The accident, photographed by a driver as shown above, occurred at around 3pm between junction 28 and 29 in the northbound carriageway, and was reported to include a van, two cars and a lorry.
There are reports traffic is still severely congested on the route, although Highways East Midlands said they had re-opened a lane past the scene, with two lanes remaining closed as the incident continues.
Derbyshire police confirmed they received a call just before 3pm reporting the incident, which involved a lorry, a BMW, Mercedes Sprinter van and an Audi A4
A spokesperson said: “Lanes two and three were blocked very close to junction 29.
There are no reports so far of any major injuries or how the incident was caused.
